Cookie policy

What are cookies?

The website owned by Azur Global Nutrition Europe S.L. (hereinafter “the web” or the “website”) uses cookies and/or similar technologies that store and retrieve information while you browse. In general, these technologies may serve very diverse purposes, such as, for example, recognising you as a user, obtaining information about your browsing habits, or personalising the way content is displayed.

You may configure your browser so that it notifies you of and rejects the installation of the cookies sent by the website, without this affecting your ability to access the contents of that website, although the quality of the website’s operation may be reduced.

The specific uses we make of these technologies are described below.

What types of cookies are there?

Cookies, according to how long they remain, may be divided into:

Session cookies
These are cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are usually used to store information that only needs to be kept in order to provide the service requested. They expire when the user closes the browser.
Persistent cookies
These are cookies in which the data remains stored on the device and may be accessed and processed for a period defined according to when the purpose they serve is fulfilled (for example, so that the user remains identified in the Services), or until they are deleted manually.

According to their owner, they may be divided into:

First-party cookies
These are cookies sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a machine or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
Third-party cookies
These are cookies sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a machine or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

Additionally, according to their purpose, Cookies may be classified as follows:

Technical cookies
These are cookies that allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and to use the different options or services available on it, including those that the publisher uses to enable the management and operation of the website and to enable its functions and services, such as, for example, identifying the session or controlling traffic and data communication.
Preference or personalisation cookies
This type of Cookie remembers your preferences for the tools found in the services, so that you do not have to configure the service again each time you visit. By way of example, this category includes:

  • Volume settings for video or audio players.
  • The video transmission speeds that are compatible with your browser.
Geo-location cookies
These Cookies are used to find out which country you are in when a service is requested. This Cookie is completely anonymous, and is only used to help direct content to your location.
Registration cookies
Registration Cookies are generated once the user has registered or has subsequently logged in, and are used to identify the user in the services with the following aims:

  • To keep the user identified so that, if the user closes a service, the browser or the computer, and at another time or on another day returns to that service, they will still be identified, thus making browsing easier without having to identify themselves again. This functionality can be removed if the user clicks the “log out” function, so that this Cookie is deleted and the next time the user enters the service they will have to log in in order to be identified.
  • To check whether the user is authorised to access certain services, for example, to take part in a competition.
Analysis or measurement cookies
Each time a User visits a service, a tool from an external provider generates an analytical Cookie on the user’s computer. This Cookie, which is only generated during the visit, will be used on subsequent visits to the Website’s Services in order to identify the visitor anonymously. The main aims pursued are:

  • To allow the anonymous identification of browsing users through the “Cookie” (it identifies browsers and devices, not people) and therefore the approximate counting of the number of visitors and their trend over time.
  • To identify anonymously the most visited and therefore most attractive content for users.
  • To know whether the user accessing the site is new or a returning visitor.
  • Important: Unless the user decides to register for a Website service, the “Cookie” will never be associated with any personal data that could identify them. Such Cookies will only be used for statistical purposes that help to optimise Users’ experience on the site.
Behavioural advertising cookies
This type of “Cookie” makes it possible to expand the information on the advertisements shown to each anonymous user in the Website’s Services. Among other things, it stores the duration or frequency with which advertising positions are viewed, the interaction with them, or the user’s browsing patterns and/or behaviour, since they help to build an advertising interest profile. In this way, they make it possible to offer advertising in line with the user’s interests.
Third-party advertising cookies
In addition to the advertising managed by the Website in its Services, the Website offers its advertisers the option of serving advertisements through third parties (“AdServers”). In this way, these third parties may store Cookies sent from the Website’s Services from Users’ browsers, as well as access the data stored in them.

Which cookies do we use?

The cookies we use on our website are the following. The list was obtained by going through the entire website —home page, product page, cart, checkout process and customer account area— and checking both the cookies visible to the browser and those that only travel in the server headers.

Advertising cookies

As of today this website does not install any advertising or behavioural advertising cookies, whether first-party or third-party. The category appears in the settings panel because the site is ready to incorporate them; as long as none exist, accepting that category does not install anything. If any were added in the future, they would be included in this table before being activated.

How can cookies be disabled?

It is normally possible to stop accepting the browser’s Cookies, or to stop accepting the Cookies of a particular Service.

All modern browsers allow you to change the Cookie settings. These settings are normally found in the ¨options¨ or ¨preferences¨ of your browser menu. You may also configure your browser or your email client, as well as install free add-ons, to prevent Web Bugs from being downloaded when you open an email.

The Website provides the User with guidance on the steps to access the cookie settings menu and, where applicable, private browsing in each of the main browsers:

Microsoft Edge / Internet Explorer: https://support.microsoft.com/es-es/windows/eliminar-y-administrar-cookies-168dab11-0753-043d-7c16-ede5947fc64d

Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/61416?hl=es&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop

Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-websites-storing-cookies-site-data-firefox

You may also modify, configure and, where applicable, withdraw the consent you have given for the installation of cookies at any time and from any page of this website, using the “Cookies” link in the footer, or from here:

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal. The categories you reject are deactivated immediately and the corresponding cookies stop being installed.

Data transfers to third countries

The installation of cookies described in section 3 of this cookie policy may involve the transfer of data to third countries. In this regard, international data transfers involve a flow of personal data from Spanish territory to recipients established in countries outside the European Economic Area (the European Union countries plus Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway).
